Welcome to The Basement Life! Have some questions? Here are some answers!

What is The Basement Life?

The Basement Life is a video game/comic book/T.V./Movie reviews, news, and opinion site run by two guys in London Ontario. Here at The Basement Life, we provide a down to earth average Joe opinion on all things geek related. We are coming from the angle of the average consumer. We aren’t sent anything and everything we review we pay for ourselves.  If you want to know if something is worth your money or if you just want to discuss ongoing news/issues in any geeky fields, The Basement Life is the place to be.

Why are you called The Basement Life?

Well, as children we were often called “basement dwellers” by parents, siblings, and friends. The Nintendo 64 was located in the basement, so naturally the majority of time was spent there. Since video games spawned most of my “geeky” interests, it only seemed right to call a site about these thing The Basement Life. We also like to think of ourselves as a House and Home for geeks.

What kind of content does The Basement Life provide?

For now you can expect all kinds of excellent written content. Whether it is a review, piece of news, or random musings about our interests you can expect us to write about it. We plan to roll out a podcast and video content in the future.

Where’s that five bucks you owe me?

You’ll have to contact our accounting department for that kind of stuff. Since we don’t have an accounting department, you’ll just have to wait until we make one.
